Stour Web Studio is an independent website studio based near the River Stour on the Essex–Suffolk border, working with small service businesses across the UK.
You deal directly with the person planning, reviewing and looking after your project—from the first conversation through to launch. Everything can be handled remotely without losing the personal service, and if something falls outside our focused offer, we will tell you before work begins.

Do you work with businesses across the UK?+
Yes. Stour is based near the River Stour on the Essex–Suffolk border, but projects are planned and delivered remotely for good small businesses anywhere in the UK.
What kind of websites do you build?+
We specialise in clear brochure and enquiry websites for small service businesses. We do not currently take on online shops, membership platforms or complex custom software.
Can you improve the website I already have?+
We can replace an existing website with a completely new Stour website while retaining your current domain. We do not modify, maintain or repair websites built by other providers.
How are the websites created?+
Stour uses a modern, efficient production process under personal direction. Every website is planned around the business, reviewed with you and checked across phones and computers before launch.
Will I be able to update it afterwards?+
Yes. You can take ownership of the finished website and arrange your own hosting, or choose optional Stour website care for managed hosting, routine updates and ongoing support.
How much does a website cost?+
Our limited founding-client website build is £495. Optional Stour website care is £39 per month. There is no ongoing Stour fee unless you choose the care service, and work outside the agreed scope is always quoted separately.
